We end our season with a Spring Luncheon in the Snape Riverview Restaurant. You can choose either a 2 course or 3 course option from the delicious menu to suit your appetite. We will also have the opportunity to hear from a member of the Britten Pears Executive team about the their exciting development plans which will already be under way when we meet for this luncheon.

Enjoy a welcome glass of wine then a delicious 2 course buffet supper prepared by The Old Generator Station's Kerry & Martin of a selection of meats , fish and vegetarian options with a lovely selection of salads and new potatoes. This is followed by a choice of desserts and cheese and biscuits and tea/coffee and herbals. Attend the AGM to support the Club and then a relaxed meal together.

Stowmarket’s popular brass band celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2022. Selected from its 40 strong membership aged 6-80, the ensemble will perform a lively light programme of traditional brass band marches, folk songs, blues and pop.

Suffolk Punch Trust

Suffolk Punch Trust

The Trust was formed to save the Colony Stud when in 2002 the Home Office decided to sell all prison farms. As it was the largest and oldest stud of the Suffolk Punch horse in 2006 it was decided to form a trust to help save this critically endangered breed of horse.

Bruce Smith became part of a group to form the Trust when the stud was in danger of being sold. He is still involved to this day and we look forward to hearing Bruce tell us about the work of the Trust and these beautiful majestic animals.

Harbour Lights Trio
A popular Suffolk Group whose material includes local traditional & Music Hall songs and tunes. Their concerts reference some of the original local singers with a few amusing tales. They play Concertinas, Melodeon, ‘Cello, Guitar, Bouzouki & Harmonica and have performed at many local concerts plus Sidmouth, Chippenham & Folk East festivals. A truly fun traditional Suffolk spot is promised.

Ray Simmons (keyboard) and Phil Brooke (guitar) as Duo Unlimited will take you on a toe tapping romp through the most influential musical form of twentieth century America.
